The Dripping Springs Arts Guild will host a spring show the weekend of May 20-21. The show be held at the Dripping Springs Sculpture Garden located at 5300 Bell Springs Road, just west of Dripping Springs. It will be open for public review from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The show will be sponsored by Parmeson Wines, which is located on the grounds of the sculpture garden. Tom Parmeson, owner of the wine venue said “I am pleased to be a part of this event which will feature some of the best artists and sculptors in Central Texas. Come join us and toast some of the finest art in Texas.”

The show will include the sculptures of members of the Texas Society of Sculptors, which represents some of the finest sculpture in Texas. Local board members of the society Phil Hoggatt and Doyle Fellers will exhibit their large stone and steel sculptures, plus numerous other small works created by local area sculptors. The show will also include the paintings of several well-known artists, including Michelle Hoggatt, whose studio is located on the grounds of the garden.

Doyle Fellers, President of the Dripping Springs Arts Guild said “The guild is a new and refreshing concept, and this show is the beginning of our goal to create a larger platform for the cultural arts in Dripping Springs. Our dream is to provide the community more access to the cultural arts including poetry, music, dance, and drama.” Fellers is the Poet Laureate of Dripping Springs.
