See history reimagined through the creativity of more than 50 artists in a free exhibition of the Cabinet Oak Project. Friends of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park invited artists from around the country to use pieces from a fallen branch of the 300-year-old “Cabinet Oak” on the LBJ Ranch and bring it into the future with their own artistic vision. The unique artwork, representing a wide range of genres and media, will be on display in a free public exhibition in the Hangar Visitor Center at the LBJ Ranch from April 2 through May 31. Art will be available for the public to purchase via an online auction, ending May 6. All proceeds benefit the Texas White House restoration and a future artist-in-residence program at the LBJ Ranch.
