The Creek Road homestead is home--home to those that have always lived there, to the traveler, to the new and long-time friend, to those in need of rejuvenation. The homestead is well and honestly tended, which is to say it's rough patches are its charm. It's a place to remember the relationship between land and humanity, to remember that our harvests are meant to be shared and occasionally abundant, but mostly any fruit or bloomed flower or sun-ripened tomato is a gift. It is a place to honor creation, creating and the creator.
