Tony Kamel is an Austin-based, Grammy nominated, singer, songwriter, guitarist, banjo playing jack-of-all-musical trades.
He is widely recognized as the former frontman, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the acclaimed Austin bluegrass quartet Wood & Wire, which earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Bluegrass Album in 2019.
As
a solo artist, Kamel transitions fluidly between bluegrass, country,
blues, and traditional folk music, showcasing a style defined by rich
storytelling, warm vocals, and mastery of the guitar, clawhammer banjo,
and harmonica.
