RED Arena was founded in 2008 in Dripping Spring with 1 horse serving 5 children with disabilities. Thanks to the amazing community support, the program has grown to serving over 200 children and adults each week through adaptive riding lessons & therapies, educational and vocational programs including the adorable gift shop that employs participants. RED also offers inclusive summer horse camps, team building events and wellness support for veteran programs.
After the 1 hour volunteer orientation, volunteers are scheduled for a weekly shift in the barn for continued training. Volunteers are also needed in the vocational program to help participants with craft projects.
