Whim brings the unique experience of being able to work with a connected family of premier vendors. Co-founder Kim Hanks previously worked in the special events industry as a wedding planner, where she became well-versed in the challenge of bringing together different companies – this floral designer, that caterer, this rentals company, that tent company – to create one seamless event.
Through a thoughtful expansion plan, Whim grew from rentals to offer a suite of event services to create a far more stress-free experience for the client. In terms of unique products, Whim has utilized co-founder Whit Hanks’ international buying connections to bring to the rental market products not otherwise found locally, or in even nationally.
