“My father set the example in his life and career that Henna Chevrolet tries to emulate even today – one of honesty, integrity and caring.” -Louis Henna, Jr., 1997
General Motors amazed fairgoers at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York with an exhibit that gave a first look at the seven-lane cross-country highway system. Louis Henna, Sr. was twenty-four years old at the time, and he knew that those highways would soon make their way to a street corner in Round Rock, Texas. So, he and the Henna Motor Co. built the world’s largest road sign, at 47 feet tall and 107 feet wide, and advertised where everyone would see it.
Now, over seven decades later, Henna Chevrolet is still family owned and operated, and we have been one of the top dealerships in Texas and in the United States throughout the last fifteen years. Louis Henna, Sr. may have known at the time that building the world’s largest road sign would help to grow his business; and he may have known that the business he started would become very successful; but he could never have known that his name would one day be on a state highway sign on one of those seven-lane cross country highways.
The Henna family, and Henna Chevrolet strive to provide a good, honest dealership and to form lasting relationships with our customers, while giving back to our community. These values have never changed.
