Q: What should I wear?
A: September is typically still pretty warm in Texas so we recommend wearing something cool and comfortable. The flooring at the Ranch Park is hard-packed dirt and concrete, so closed toe shoes, like boots or tennis shoes, are recommended.
Q: What alcohol can I buy by the bottle or can?
A: You can buy beer and wine. We do not sell distilled spirits.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Only active service animals are allowed at DWT.
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: While we don't think young children will enjoy the festival, they are allowed. Tickets for under 21 are $30, and under the age of two are free.
Q: What are the demos and why would I want to go?
A: The demos are a special treat, in an intimate setting, where you get to sample additional bites and booze. While demos take place throughout the day, the room must be cleared in between each demonstration.
Q: Can I get a refund on my DWT ticket?
A: Sorry, but no refunds. Tickets are transferable though!
Q: Is the event rain or shine?
A: You betcha!
Q: What's the deal with parking?
A: General parking is free. VIP parking is for Sponsors only. Golf carts are on hand to take folks from their cars to the check-in and back to their vehicle after the fun.
Q: What if I want to buy more tasting tickets?
A: You can buy extra tasting tickets at the festival all day long for $1 each.
Q: Who benefits from Dripping With Taste?
A: The money raised at DWT benefits the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that promotes tourism in the Dripping Springs area. This year, the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau will be donating a portion of the funds raised to the Dripping Springs High School Hospitality program.
