The owners of Bell Springs Winery, who also own Sidecar Tasting Room, a prohibition style wine bar in the heart of historic Dripping Springs, pride themselves on producing delectable reds, whites and roses. This winery is not your typical nose in the air type of venue, it’s a place where you can spend all afternoon relaxing on the beautiful grounds enjoying an exceptional glass of wine. Bell Springs Winery, located on Bell Springs Road offers tastings of 5-7 wines plus they also have a brewery, Bell Springs Brewing on the same grounds.

They also offer a full food menu on the weekends where you can try delicious bites like flash friend brussel sprouts or treat yourself to a good burger. On the weekdays, they serve up various meat and cheese boards, and various small bites. Driftwood Estate Winery

Driftwood Estate takes pride in its production of high quality wines made from Texas grapes. It is also know as the Texas winery and vineyard with the Million Dollar View and boy if that’s not the truth. Sitting atop a bluff that overlooks the estate and the Hill Country, visitors can sit back and enjoy Driftwood Estates award winning wines made with Texas grapes. The tasting room is open daily 11:00 to 6:00 and you can taste any 6 wines listed on their tasting sheet or buy a bottle to be enjoyed on their shaded patio.

The tasting fee includes a souvenir Riedel wine glass with the Driftwood logo. Choose from a selection of Muscats, Sweet Whites, Cuvee Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose and many more. Grab a table, or put down a blanket on the lush lawn to enjoy a picnic all while taking in the scenic Hill Country view. Located on the grounds of Driftwood Estate Winery is the Driftwood Bistro. DUCHMAN FAMILY WINERY

Made from 100% Texas grapes, Duchman Family Winery makes 100% Texas wine. The family owned operation, founded in 2004, strives to bring world class wine-making to central Texas and the hill country. Arriving on the property, you’ll be enveloped in a slice of Tuscan heaven situated in the rolling hill country hills with lush vineyards, a shaded picnic area, an Italian Villa-style event center. The knowledgeable tasting room attendants will guide you through a flight of 6 tastes of wine, and you will be sure to find a favorite or two to enjoy!

Feel free to sip and stroll their hallway on a tour of the windowed barrel room, tank fermentation area, and production area where the bottling and labeling take place. Pack your picnic to enjoy with a bottle of wine outdoors under the shade of the oak trees or cozy up to a wine barrel where you can sit, sip, and enjoy. FALL CREEK VINEYARDS

Located in Driftwood, TX, Fall Creek Vineyards was the first Texas Hill Country winery and has been celebrating the art of wine making since 1975. They use grapes from several vineyards around the state, including grapes grown at the Salt Lick Vineyard, which perhaps is the only vineyard in the world that can claim BBQ pit ash and smoke as part of its terroir.

They offer two tasting options and they also serve up specially selected “wine bites” that complement the tasting and the wines. GRAVEYARD VINEYARDS

Head down Bell Springs Road and you'll be amazed by not only the breathtaking scenery, but also the wide variety of beverage destinations that call this quiet Hill Country road home. One of the newest additions to the booze-y businesses on Bell Springs Road is Graveyard Vineyards.

Graveyard prides themselves in their small production of wine with big flavors. The name of the winery comes from a small, historic cemetery that can be found on the estate where the wine is made in Paso Robles Wine Country in California. HAWK'S SHADOW WINERY

When you arrive at Hawk's Shadow, one of the first sights you will see is a commanding view of the Lower Estate Vineyard, and the broad expanse of nature preserves, ranches and watersheds east of the Pedernales Falls State Park. The owners of this family owned winery will immediately make you feel like you’re part of the family. Wine tasting at Hawk's Shadow feature samplings of their finished wines in bottles, crafted from varietals from their vineyards with grape that are exclusively grown in Texas.

Hawk’s Shadow is a pet friendly winery and they also encourage folks to bring a picnic and relax awhile. Or stay for dinner in the cellar which is an unforgettable experience. SOLARO ESTATE WINERY

Tucked away off the beaten path is Solaro Estate Winery. This Dripping Springs, TX winery is known for its laid back atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Dedicated to producing high quality, sustainable wines, the vineyards are strategically located on ancient fossil bed, and expand high above the banks of Barton Creek, where the natural qualities of pure limestone filtered water, free draining soil, a constant breeze, dryness, hot sunny days and cool nights culminate in our proven micro viticultural area.

Enjoy an afternoon sipping on some of their wines out on their patio that overlooks the vineyard. They offer tastings of their wines selected by Solaro Estates winemaker located in the tasting pavilion surround by the gorgeous vineyards. They also offer a walking education tour of the estate and the vineyards, as well as a personalized tour where you’ll learn about the wine making process in the production setting. HAMILTON POOL VINEYARDS

Hamilton Pool Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery that proudly offers hand-crafted wines, many produced from the 9-acre estate vineyard. The boutique wines are processed in a French style, making them unique among other Texas Hill Country wineries.


Visit their warm and inviting tasting room where one of their knowledgeable hosts will guide you through an award winning tasting of their hand-crafted wines. Pull up a stool in the outdoor tasting area under the shade of a lovely oak tree and soak up the rolling vineyard views, or simply stop in and purchase one of your favorites. PARMESON WINES

Also located on Bell Springs Road is another California based winery that has set up shop in Dripping Springs, TX. On the grounds of Carved Stone and the Dripping Springs Sculpture Garden you'll find the quaint and charming tasting room for Parmeson Wines.

After having an epiphany, and transitioning careers, owner Tom Parmeson, set out to collaborate with those who have decades of experience to create elegant and refined wines that enable the unique characteristics of the terroir. Parmeson Wines serves a variety of red, whites and a rose from vineyards in Sonoma County in Northern California.
