The Driftwood Estate Winery has been a pioneer in the Texas wine market for years. Their award winning wines are spectacular and their amazing property is a favorite for wine tourists and locals. The grounds are highlighted by the million dollar views of the vineyards and valley below the tasting room, which is perched high above.
Restaurant owner Mark Sewell has enjoyed the wines and the property since opening his first restaurant in Dripping Springs in 2011. So much so, that he and his wife were married at Driftwood Winery in 2014. Since then, the plans have been in place to bring food to the winery.
The Driftwood Bistro is the first phase, opening in 2019. The Bistro brings a full service experience to the winery property with a delicious menu that is influenced by foods from around the world. All of the menu items are designed to pair well with Driftwood wines. The seating, both indoor and outdoor, takes full advantage of the spectacular views of the original tasting room.
The Driftwood Bistro, located on the property of Driftwood Estate Winery, is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during winery hours. Reservations are accepted. The Bistro also hosts special event dinners, offers full catering services, and can be rented out for private parties.
