Join us for a family friendly Howl-oween themed evening of hiking
under the light of the Hunter's moon, s'mores roasting, and spooky story
telling.
We welcome you to watch the sun set and the full moon rise. Bring
your best nature-themed costume, as we'll have a costume contest near
the building, a s'mores station, and spooky story telling spots along
the trails.
Your self-guided walk will take you along our Uplands trail, a 1/2
mile inner loop or 1 mile outer loop of smooth unimproved hiking trail.
You are welcome to hike as the sun sets, or follow the light of the full
moon, and the occasional tea candle along the trail, as you explore the
Texas Hill Country in the wonder of the night.
Groups will have staggered access to the trails to ensure
adequate space for discovery and exploration. Please check in by 7pm at
the latest
This is a self-guided hike. You can NOT access the canyon or cave via this event, which occurs on The Uplands. Access to the canyon and cave is available as a public Walk Through The Grotto Tour or as a Private Preserve Experience, which is a perk of a Westcave Membership.
