Bailey’s Riding On A Dream is a fundraising event to benefit a dream of a young Dripping Springs woman. Bailey Kay Hutson’s vision is to use the funds raised from Bailey’s Riding On A Dream bull-riding event and concert to help children with disabilities and their families. The vibrant 20-year-old’s dream, who was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, is to purchase land to build a facility where children with special needs can go to have an experience of a lifetime. Her goal is to not only operate the facility but to also provide a fun and engaging space where children can find an escape from the confinements of a hospital room.
On May 18, the Friday before the bull riding event and Jason Boland concert, Bailey is inviting local Dripping Springs children with disabilities on a field trip to Dripping Springs Ranch Park.On top of a behind the scenes look at the park, she is bringing in a petting zoo, offering horseback riding, free t-shirts to give away to the kids, as well as serving lunch.
While most of the dollars raised from the event will benefit Bailey’s Riding On A Dream, a portion of the funds will benefit the 100 Club of Central Texas. The 100 Club of Central Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to providing immediate financial and emotional assistance to the families of first responders who have been killed or critically injured in the line of duty.
Sponsorships for Bailey’s Riding On A Dream are still available. Please contact the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau for more information.
